One of our best valued reds yet, made mostly from Tempranillo with a touch of Bobal; native to this region of Spain. This purple hued beauty is well structured & medium bodied. Distinctive flavors of tobacco, licorice & spice merry to perfection with ripe notes of red currants, black raspberries & juicy strawberries. A wonderful value for a unique blend.

The 2010 Monte Alto Tinto is a 100% Tempranillo cuvee aged sur lie in stainless steel for 2 months. Earthy minerals and spicy black fruits lead to a forward, easygoing, friendly red that will deliver enjoyment over the next 2-3 years. It, too, is a very good value.
